Ademco LynxR24 questions

Hello all --

I just bought a home a few months ago with an already installed Ademco LynxR24 wireless security system. The previous owners had never used it in their 3 years of living here and had unplugged the AC adapter. In painting and remodeling the house, I removed the touchpad from the wall and patched up the hole with the phone line and power cables still inside.

Now -- after a break in -- I'd like to get this unit up and running again. I've downloaded the installer's manual, broken open the walls to access the cables, and it looks like I've reconnected the power correctly. It also shows activity (the green READY light blinks) when I open doors with the contacts still on them.

Here are a couple questions I have:

1) How do I reset the Master Code and installer's code? I have tried the Power down then #/* method a couple times, but was not certain that the unit was receiving the default installer's code correctly. I contacted the former owners about the code, but they didn't have it.

2) I would like to integrate a cellular dialer into this system. Is this possible to do with this model?

3) I'd also like to add a glass break contact and another door contact. How difficult is this?

Entering 4112+800 doesn't get me into programming mode. I am assuming that someone changed it. I tried the power up method. I unplugged the transformer and disconnected the batteries. Reinstalled the batteries and plugged in the transformer and within 30 seconds hit the # and * keys at the same time. This triggered the panic alarm (#99). What am I doing wrong? I have the installers manual for the LYNKr24 which is the system I have. It is 100% wireless and is working fine but I want to add a smoke detector so I need to get into the program mode. TIA. Steve
