Okay, we're building a house and we would like to take the cheapie faucets and fixtures in the showers and replace them when we move in. Is it possible to do this without tearing out the wall? They're Moen Chateau one handle style.

Can we buy a set and use the existing valve? If this doesn't make sense, I can clarify. Thanks in advance...you could be saving me tons of money!

Kitchen sinks and lavs usually can be replaced from the surface without entering the walls. Some faucets in shower can be replaced from the surface but usually tubs and showers are replaced by opening the wall on the other side thus entering the wall to change the tub and shower faucets from inside the walls.

Hope this helps
