I am thinking of using Great Stuff foam to seal the joints between sheets of Styrofoam. Does anyone know if GS will dissolve the Styrofoam? Or if there is a better way to seal the joints. I figure GS should come out both sides of the seam and glue the Styrofoam to the concrete block wall as a bonus. And I will be using it to fill a few other holes, cracks and seams anyway, might as well use it for the Styrofoam joints as well.

I wouldnt.. the stuff expands too much and will distort or break your styrofoam. Plus its not very flexible once dried.
Duct tape works well if you spend themoney to get the good quality and weatherproof stuff.
DAP has a foam in a blue and black can called Daptex that I use all the time. It doesnt expand much, or with alot of force. Safe for door and window frames. Doesnt dry hard like great stuff does though, but I think it can be painted over. I dont konw if rodents will eat it or not either. Plus it cleans with water and the can is good for several uses if you clean the valve out very well.
