MAPP Torch vs Propane Torch

Can a Propane torch be used on a MAPP gas cylinder? If not, why?

If you are speaking of the handheld type tanks that are used by DIY'rs for small repairs, yes.

Thanks. Good to know as I have 3 or 4 propane torch heads but would like to use MAPP gas as it is hotter flame

Just make sure you practice on some scrap before you solder the real thing. Get used to the flame first!!
