How do I re-bed the charcoal filter and the softener. Pix below.

Unscrew controller, dump out old, dump in new??

Basically yes, with indepth instuctions. Wherever you buy the resin and mineral should provide the instructions. Local dealers probably won't be too pleased to do that if they even entertain the question. Plus you'll probably pay much more than if you bought over the internet.

Thanks for reply. I’m reading filtration literature from manufacturer and university web sites, trying to get unbiased information.
