From the reports that were auto emailed to me...
Database connection errors... (the number of times within that time range, could be several people trying to connect, or the same person repeatively trying ot connect)
April 13 - 3:17 am x 4 times
April 12 -
10 pm x 1 time
8pm x 1
7:09pm to 7:10 pm x 11 times
8:21am to 8:22am x 5 times
3:18 am to 3:19 am x 86 times (must be a database server reboot)
That is the database connections errors, that does not indicate file server reboots. File server reboots seem be put the site down for up to 2 minutes.
Judging by the database conenction error reports that I received, and the number of visitors a day, that may not be that out of range of being acceptable in my view. Of course even being down for 1 minutes we would rather not have, but comparing costs vs reliability, we have to accept a certain amount.
I have emailed Warren to see if he is experiencing any problems. From my end it has been quite good in response times recently, but I check it a few times a day, but you people that are on it constantly doing replies may notice notice any hicups sooner.
I am hoping others will come forth if they are experiencing the same.

The error I have been getting is 'site not found'.

Don I am having same problems as joed, frequently. Today Ive been on the site the last hour or so and have experienced several delays of 2 minutes or more. Not getting any error replies but cannot link within the site to browse around or make replies. Acts like a reboot is going on but this is happening now for a week or better and frequently. I can leave the site ok to go to another site but cant get back....times out on me. Eventually, 5 minutes I would guesstimate, everything is back to normal but then it happens again....hope this helps...RL

I am going to add a html forum entry page, within the next day or two, this will be a index.html page which the site will default to when going to the forum site www.selfhelpforums.com , the forums are actually a php file index.php , the entry page will have a introduction and link to click on to get to the forums. This will tell me if the site is still not being found when you goto
www.selfhelpforums.com
If it finds the entry html default page and rather it can find the forum php file when you click on that link. Sort of narrows it down a bit, if you can hit the entry html but not the php forum start or if if you get a database problem message.
Also would like to know if you can hit www.homewiringandmore.com during the times you can't properly get to the actual forums, as the file server should be the same for both sites.

It has been working good today. I will try note the things you asked when problems occur.
