Pipe Vibration From Shower

okay plumbing is not my bag of tea...im an electrician by trade . So i need help. Live in a two story home ...when i turn on the hot water in the shower upstairs my pipes begin to rattle. Even the sink nearby...What cause this?

Sounds like the faucet that you are turning on has a loose component in the valve.

Need more info to help you though........like the brand name of the valve, the number of handles, age of faucet.


High water pressure is another relative situation that may or may not be part of the equation.
