I have a 2nd floor bathroom falling into the bathroom im fixing and sistering is out of the question 'cause the old joist are rotten and gone. I have it being help by a 4x4 post on a bottle jack, it's a 3'.5" w x 4' 5" L section. The ceiling is 10' high and I was thinking of dropping in some 2x6 beams in opposite direction of old joist and dropping the ceiling. I'm not sure if you should call the fire department or an engineer next, but I'm nearly certain that nobody here is going to be able to advise you on a repair strategy for something that far gone.
