Once alarm is engaged ....turning OFF alarm with password code it will
automatically continue sounding alarm showing up all number
of zones until you are able to reset it & stops. Using your
password does not turn the system OFF. Yet the system can be
alarmed fine using the password code. ???? Can anyone Help?

1st a lot of alarm systems will not switch off with a fault condition, for example when you enter the home, you MUST close the door, before the alarm will accept the passcode and deactivate the alarm.

Which brand is the system? ( Ademco, NAPCO, DSC, etc...) The keypad should have it stamped on it somewhere and it will be on the user's guide if you have that.

If you still can't locate it look on the front of the control panel cabinet.

Without this information I can't help you because I've never heard of any system doing that.
